Background information: On the weekend of the flood the wife of this young couple went into labor to deliver their second child. While at the hospital the husband had to have emergency surgery and was unable to get to their home as it flooded. About one week later they finally were able to visit their home and found it had flooded about 2 feet. However, the husband was unable to do anything to begin the clean up due to his surgery and the risk of complications. Many friends and a group from St Henry helped clean out their home and remove all dry wall and flooring. They have now rebuilt most everything but need some help with painting the three remaining bedrooms so they can move their family back home.
RSVP: Please RSVP to Linda McGovern at lmcgovern@sthenry.org so we know how many people to expect.
